Moby Dick Marathon Reading - Part 2

This June, the whaling town of Sag Harbor was once again the scene of a marathon reading of Herman Melville's Moby Dick.  Locals read from the work at locations around town.

The Marathon was organized by Canio's Cultural Cafe in conjunction with local cultural  institutions, the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum, the John Jermain Memorial Library,  the Old Whaler's Church and the Eastville Historical Society.

Here is part 2 of the reading recorded at Canio's Books, Sag Harbor.

We begin with Actor Harris Yulin reading part of the first chapter "Loomings".

The readers were:

Harris Yulin, Alan Furst, Rosalind Brenner. Jackie Hilly, James Henry,
Francesca Rheannon, Joan Baum, and Kimberly Wilder.
