2019 Poetry Marathon - Lynn Melnick and Rosalind Brenner,



East End Ink presents  poets Lynn Melnick and Rosalind Brenner, recorded in July 2019 at the annual Poetry Marathon at the East Hampton Historical Society's Mulford Farm.


Lynn Melnick reads from “Landscape with Sex and Violence" and other work.


Rosalind Brenner reads from her latest collection, “Every Glittering Chimera,”

Lynn Melnick’s published work includes Landscape with Sex and Violence, 2017

 and If I Should Say I Have Hope, 2012 both from Yes Yes Books.


A former fellow at the New York Public Library’s Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers, she teaches at the 92nd Street Y and Columbia University.

She lives in Brooklyn.


Rosalind Brenner is an artist and poet.


Her work includes:

All That’s Left: Poems and Paintings from Art House Press

 and Omega’s Garden, a compendium of women’s voices from Finishing Line Press.

She lives in East Hampton.
The Poetry Marathon continues on August 4 at the Mulford Farm, 10 James Lane in East Hamtpon with "some notable local poets".

The Poetry Marathon was produced for over 20 years by Sylvia Chavkin and Bebe Antel.  Starting in 2016 the series has been directed by Springs poet Dee Slavutin.
