Scott Chaskey reads his poetry and prose

 

Organic farming pioneer Scott Chaskey is the retired director of the Quail Hill farm in Amagansett New York that he led for 30 years.

He was a founding member of the New York chapter of NOFA. the Northeast Farming Association 

Scott Chaskey is also a poet and a writer of works on organic agriculture.

In April 2020 in celebration of Earth Day, Scott Chaskey read from his poetry and prose at an on-line session produced by Canios Cultural Café.

Scott Chaskey’s book Seedtime: On the History, Husbandry, Politics and Promise of Seeds was published in 2014 by Rodale Press. 

Chaskey’s This Common Ground: Seasons On An Organic Farm was published by Putnam in 2005.
