Alexis De Veaux is a poet, playwright, fiction writer, educator, activist and essayist . She is associate professor and chair of the Department of Women’s Studies at the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Kathy Engel is a poet who has founded, co founded, and directed social justice and human rights organizations including the women’s human rights organization MADRE. She is a co-founder of the Hayground School in Bridgehampton, New York where this program was recorded.
