African - American Writer Read-In
Each February the John Jermain Library in Sag Harbor celebrates the work of African American Writers with a ‘read – in’ of their work by members of the community. Today we present excerpts from last year’s read in at Canios Books and this year’s read-in at the Library. Authors include: Zora Neale Hurston, Margaret Walker, Langston Hughes, James Baldwin, Tracy K. Smith and Carol Spencer. Readers are Margaret Bromberg, Gloria Primm Brown, Frank Rizzo, Kathryn Szoka, Sandra Dunn and Carol Spencer.
